Today I ran in my first official race event; a 10k (6.2 miles) trail run at Bridle Trails. I’d been preparing for this for the last 6 weeks now, and I was very ready. I finished in 53:45, which is the fastest I’ve ever run that distance, by a good margin.

Afterwards, I took a rest, and stretched, and Brenda and the kids all joined in to see the equestrian activities. Rylan and Jackson also did a lap around the ring in the Donkey Dash.
